On June 1, 2018, the technical team of Jingda Company and relevant leaders and technical personnel of China Telecom Xi'an Branch conducted in-depth discussions and technical exchanges on the current application status of IoT technology in water meter remote meter reading, and shared multiple application cases of IoT water meters. Both parties agreed that the application technology of IoT water meters is becoming mature and has broad prospects.

After the technical exchange meeting, the two parties held an IoT cooperation signing ceremony in a friendly and peaceful atmosphere, and reached a long-term strategic IoT cooperation relationship! The two parties agreed that within 7 years starting from 2018, Hangzhou Jingda Company will purchase no less than 200,000 NB-IOT IoT cards from Xi'an Telecom in batches. After signing the contract, 20,000 NB-IOT IoT cards will be purchased for the first time, and 10,000 NB-IOT IoT cards will be purchased again after half a year, and then purchased in batches as the project progresses. Xi'an Telecom must cooperate with Hangzhou Jingda Company's NB-IOT IoT card purchase needs in real time to promote the implementation of NB-IOT smart water meters.

After the signing ceremony, Jingda’s technical service personnel, together with Xi’an Telecom’s technical personnel, went to the installation site of Jingda’s NB-IOT water meter to conduct communication and valve switching tests.

In surface wells below 3 meters and in basements, on-site tests of the Jingda brand NB-IOT IoT water meters have achieved normal communication and remote control of valves!
