NB-IoT (Narrow Band Internet of Things) is built on the GSM2G network. NB-IOT technology is applied to remote meter reading of water meters. No concentrator is required. The water meter has a built-in NB-IOT communication chip to directly send usage data to the data center. The communication stability depends on the coverage of the operator's base station.
